LIPILLO's core product offering consists of dissolvable melatonin pouches, each containing a 3 milligram dose of melatonin infused with natural ingredients. BRAND EXPLORATION

“Because Your Mouth Needs A Pillow Too” is a play on the term pillow being used for other pouched products. The name “Lipillo” derives from the term “lip pillow,” fused together to mimic the shorter names of other pouched products 

CHOICES

The three stars are used to symbolize the amount of melatonin within each pouch. It is also used as a design choice to again evoke a sense of peacefulness. In the Secondary Logo it also represents the calmness of one’s mind as they use Lipillo.

The choice to use Octothorpe PanEuro serves as an opportunity to include “Z” into the Tertiary Logo while avoiding the harsh edges of the letter. Using this typeface helps to denote a sense of hypnotizing serenity and softness- a feeling that Lipillo achieves when used. They also are emblematic of a folded pillow, evoking sleepiness.

The Secondary logo serves to be both a head on a pillow, as well as a moon in the sky. The loop is meant to show how Lipillo can help restart your body after a good nights sleep.

The moon imagery allows for a unique packaging design, and can be seen from far away and instantly recognized with the dark purple crescent. The “Z’s” making up the moon are used to add further texture.

The tick marks on the packaging is supposed to both symbolize the end of the day and the idea of winding down. It also evokes the idea of  timeliness, a characteristic of Lipillo Pouches
